The Molise Region has situated in the middle of Italy.
Molise is in the "green heart of Europe", due to its numerous mountains it is wild and unpolluted.
Three motorways run through Molise: Bologna-Bari (A14) with an exit at Termoli (joining the Bifernina highway); Milano-Roma-Napoli (A1), with an exit at San Vittore (from Rome) and Caianello (from Naples); Napoli-Bari (A 16) with an exit at Benevento.
The Bifernina highway connects the West to East coast (Adriatico). Bus services connect Campobasso, Isernia and Termoli.
The railway system is also very efficient, linking Molise to Naples, Rome, Pescara and Bari (for train times, services etc. go to www.trenitalia.it).
Boats and ferries to the Tremiti island leave daily from the port of Termoli.
